Colors of Fall – Boston Maternity Photographer

I wish more moms-to-be would take advantage of having maternity photos taken. I know for many pregnant women the thought of posing in front of a camera during your 7th or 8th month doesn’t sound like a good time. But that’s why you hire a professional! All of my clients receive guidance on wardrobe and posing (and many choose to add on professional hair and makeup). My maternity sessions are very “hands on” and I think my clients appreciate the direction I give. What you don’t want is to be standing there not knowing what to do! I have studied the art of maternity posing so I know exactly what poses will flatter you and your baby bump 🙂

This mama made my job so easy. Her laid back and fun attitude made the session fun for both of us! We had gorgeous weather and lighting that evening so I took full advantage and put her in one of my custom maternity gowns from my wardrobe. Paired with the bold blue dress she brought from home, her gallery was filled with the beautiful colors of fall!

Maternity sessions are a beautiful way to celebrate your growing family. You will love having these images to look back on after your baby arrives! I recommend booking your maternity session in your second trimester and scheduling it between 30 to 35 weeks. This timing is ideal because most expectant moms have a nice round baby bump by this point, but aren’t yet super uncomfortable! These sessions can take place outdoors at a location of your choice within the North Shore area or in the studio during the colder winter months. Julie Freitas Photography has a wardrobe of gorgeous custom maternity gowns that are available to any client booking a maternity session.
