Pumpkin Cake Smash

I don’t typically do themed cake smashes, but this long time client of mine absolutely LOVES fall and really wanted to do something special for her little guy’s first birthday. So pumpkin cake smash it is! She ordered the adorable cake from my neighbors at Flourish Bake Shop, who always makes the perfect cakes for my sessions. The rest of the decor we kept pretty simple to tie in with the theme, but not overwhelm the background.

As you can see, this little guy LOVED his cake! By the time he was done is was pretty much all over his face. The true sign of a cake smash success!

Cake smashes are a fun (and messy!) way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday. They can be added on to a traditional 1 year milestone portrait session.
