Shining Star – Danvers Baby Photography

It’s so much fun turning one! I met this little guy way back when for his newborn session and got to see him again to celebrate his first birthday! This is hands down the best part of my job (besides snuggling cute newborns). I love being able to see how much those tiny babies grow in just one year’s time. It really is amazing when you think about everything that babies learn to do in that first year. Smiling, sitting, talking, walking – this little man did it all! In fact, keeping him in one spot was really tough because all he wanted to do was play. I don’t tend to use a lot of “props” with this age, with the exception of things babies can sit on. I find that if you give a newly minted toddler something to sit (or rather, climb) on it distracts them for just enough time to capture those great smiles. Let me put it this way – I don’t need to go to the gym on days I have 1 year milestone sessions because they are a work out 😉
