One of my favorite sessions to date! Baby boy was a dream for this Gloucester MA newborn photographer! He arrived to the studio super sleepy and molded into each pose perfect. He even nailed the “taco” pose (don’t ask me where this one got its name – I have no idea!) where baby is curled up with feet by their face.
Since he was born in the spring I added a bit of greenery to commemorate the season. I love adding colors to my sessions that aren’t commonly requested, and believe it or not green is one of them.
After prop poses, we moved on to family photos. It’s up to you whether or not you want to be a part of your baby’s newborn session, but I always encourage it! It’s such a wonderful memory to have, especially since newborns only fit in your arms like this for so long. I like to do a family pose with both parents and then individual portraits with baby. This way, both mom and dad get a special keepsake.
