This is the third little love I’ve had the pleasure of capturing for this sweet family. Her six month milestone session was SO much fun! Even though we had a really hot and humid day, she was in good spirits and gave me some great facial expressions. We met at my favorite outdoor spot – Long Hill Reservation – which was a great late summer backdrop. There are so many great spots there for photos and we took advantage of several of them.
The best time to schedule your baby’s 6 month portrait session is when they are able to sit up on their own (without toppling over). A lot of people skip this milestone in favor of the 1 year birthday session, but it is SO cute and fun! Babies at this age aren’t mobile yet which makes a huge difference. Plus…the baby rolls. You NEED to document all of that perfect baby chub while it’s still there. Believe me, you won’t regret it 😉
